Boycott Mega Brands

The Canadian company Mega Brands has shown a total disregard for the safety of children with their reluctant and incomplete recall of the extremely dangerous Magnetix toys, which are manufactured in China. 

Life threatening injuries to dozens of children, as well as the death of a toddler, could have been prevented had Mega Brands taken action on thousands of consumer complaints.  Investigative reports by the Chicago Tribune indicate they were well aware of the problem of tiny but extremely powerful magnets falling out of their toys, yet they did everything they could to keep the deadly Magnetix kits on store shelves.  Dozens of children have suffered major injuries and had to undergo emergency surgery after swallowing the small magnets, which can connect inside the intestinal tract and tear through the bowels like a bullet.

Please boycott Mega Brands and let them know you will not purchase their products because of their despicable handling of the Magnetix recall.
